It is nice being the only one in the office for the week, although I can't really enjoy it too much as I'm undertaking a "not drinking" experiment this week. Counting back to even before the holidays, there haven't been any days I can think of—excluding the food poisoning days—that I haven't had some alcohol or another.

Saturday I drank all day while doing various projects, which made me useless on Sunday. I have to remember that nasty, sick, sluggish feeling.

I had no idea you were in Sacto last weekend. Oh well. What are you doing Thursday night? I will be in town and myself and Jose are doing something. We could do a nerd-con redux.

Actually, the way it worked out we didn't go to Sacramento, and were thinking of going this weekend, instead. In which case we'd leave Thursday night. But it is not yet a certain thing! Not a thing of certainty at all.
Cool!! I will be in town Friday sometime if you would like to get together for something. Maybe a bunch of us could hit the Streets of London or another equally pretentious bar in downtown.
