Oops, false alarm

The earth was not destroyed ater all, it was just a lot of rain.

To celebrate, I made something in the Huevos Rancheros category for dinner last night:

Some of the thick, spicy 15-bean soup Scott made, and Sriracha'd salsa, over two well-salted & crushed-peppered fried eggs with crawling (not running) yolk, sprinkled with grated Drunken Goat cheese, over a corn tortilla, with a pint of Bison stout for refreshment.

Eggs and salt is the best combination ever invented.

This one time I made eggs without salt and almost decided that eggs were not rad. Then I put some salt on and it was the best eggs I ever had in my life. True Story

That is a good story, and it really made me think.

I think we all learned something tonight. Don't you think so?

I guess there is a lesson here* for us all.

The lesson is that food is delicious.

I thought the lesson was that food is hilarious.

I'd better eat some more to test your theory.

That is not bison stout. Bison stout is more hairy, and looks less like Stone Ruination IPA than does the bottle pictured. Clearly a mistake has been made (though the mistake was not in the beer selection - Ruination is lovely).

Anonymous, have you considered that I may have poured a bottle of Bison Stout into one of our pint glasses, perhaps even our...Stone Ruination IPA pint glass? (in other words, tt is not a bottle pictured there.)

Because if you have considered that, you have considered the truth.

A stout was called for with that particular meal, although I certainly agree with you -- they are both no-lose choices.

:)
